About

Walter Pierce Park Dog Park, also known as the Adams Morgan Dog Park, sits on the western edge of Walter Pierce Park at 2630 Adams Mill Road NW in Washington, DC. Created in late 2004 by neighborhood dog owners working with the city, it was the District's first official off-leash dog park and helped pave the way for the legislation that allows off-leash dog parks across the city. Dog owners use the securely fenced area daily from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM to let their pups socialize and play.
