About

Upcountry Dog Park has given Makawao, Hawaii an off-leash gathering spot since opening in late 2015 off Hale Kipa Road, just below Kalama Middle School. The fenced park divides play between dogs under 20 pounds and larger dogs, with a water fountain, a hose for rinsing muddy paws, and waste stations on hand. Dog owners also appreciate its easy access near the Eddie Tam park area in the heart of Upcountry Maui.
