About

Fort Washington Park in Cambridge, Massachusetts is a shared-use off-leash area where dog owners can enjoy off-leash time with their dogs in historic Cambridgeport. The park protects the remains of a Revolutionary War earthwork fortification erected by Continental Army soldiers under George Washington's direction, giving outings a one-of-a-kind historic backdrop. As a shared-use space, dogs go off leash alongside other park activities, making it a distinctive spot for owners who like a little history with their dog walks.
