About

Wahlfield Park Dog Park is Kent County's first dog park, a 10-acre off-leash destination that opened at 6811 Alpine Ave in Comstock Park, Michigan, in July 2026. Dog owners can let their pups splash in the one-acre swimming pond with a dog beach and jumping dock, run the two-acre activity field, or stroll the crushed-stone walking trails, while a dedicated one-acre area serves small dogs of 25 pounds or less. A four-season family restroom with a dog wash station rounds out the park's year-round appeal.
