About

Prairie View Dog Park opened in spring 2010 as the off-leash centerpiece of Prairie View County Park in Vicksburg, Michigan. The 7-acre fenced area offers a grassy open field, a wooded section with a walking trail, and plenty of shade trees, plus a dedicated area for dogs under 25 pounds. Operated by Kalamazoo County on the shores of Gourdneck and Hogsett Lakes, it pairs the dog park with swimming, picnic shelters, and hiking trails.
