About

McKinney Bark Park in Kirksville, Missouri, is the city's first dedicated dog park, located on South Franklin Street at 2524 S Franklin St and named for local resident Rich McKinney. Dog owners can use separate small and large off-leash areas with water fountains, waste stations, and picnic tables, managed as part of the Kirksville city park system. The park sits on land the city acquired from the Missouri Department of Transportation, and the community raised funds through a local Dog Park Committee to make it a reality.
