About

Rancho San Rafael Regional Park is Washoe County's large regional park at 1595 N Sierra St in Reno, Nevada, where the west-side multi-use pasture serves as the park's designated off-leash area for dogs. Dog owners bring their pups to roam the roomy pasture, then can enjoy the surrounding park's miles of walking and biking trails, the Wilbur D. May Museum and Arboretum, Herman's Pond, playgrounds, and reservable picnic pavilions. The pasture is the only spot in the park where dogs may run off leash, with leashes used everywhere else.
