About

Gurney Hood Dog Park, known locally as the Gurney Hood Barking Lot, is a fenced off-leash park at Joe Eakes Park on K Avenue in Kure Beach, North Carolina. Separate large and small dog sections spread over sandy, shady grounds with water fountains, benches, and rinse-off pools for dirty paws. As Kure Beach's only public off-leash area, it is the go-to spot for dog owners across the beach town.
