About

Irving Park Off Leash Area is the designated off-leash stretch inside Portland's 16-acre Irving Park, a historic Irvington-neighborhood green designed by landscape architect Florence Holmes Gerke. Dog owners get a grassy, unfenced area just south of the basketball court, with off-leash hours running mornings and evenings in each season. Shaded by mature trees and ringed with sports fields, it's an easy neighborhood meetup spot for Portland, Oregon pups.
