About

Connell Dog Park anchors the nearly 16-acre Connell Park at 800 Gibbons St in South Scranton, Pennsylvania, the city's only dedicated dog park. Dogs big and small have run off-leash here since 2008, with separate areas for dogs over and under 30 pounds, plus benches and pet-waste stations for owners. The City of Scranton has a rehabilitation project underway that includes upgrades to the dog park.
