About

Folly Beach County Park is a Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission beach park on the west end of Folly Beach, South Carolina, stretching over 4,000 feet of sand between the Atlantic Ocean and the Folly River. Leashed dogs are welcome on the beach all day from October through April, and in the summer season they can join in the early morning or evening hours outside the busy midday window. Dog owners will find lifeguards in season, outdoor showers, a snack bar, and chair and umbrella rentals waiting along the shoreline.
