About

Thompson Park Dog Park is the fenced off-leash playground tucked inside Amarillo's Thompson Memorial Park at 2401 Dumas Dr, with separate areas for small dogs under 25 lbs and larger dogs. Dog owners will find open grassy fields big enough for long games of fetch and Frisbee, a splash-friendly pond, plus agility equipment and waste stations around the grounds. A current city dog license is required for use, so this well-kept Amarillo, Texas spot is a favorite with owners who keep their paperwork current.
