About

Genesee Park Off-Leash Area is a 2.7-acre completely fenced off-leash space at 4316 S Genesee St in Seattle, Washington, inside Genesee Park and Playfield near Lake Washington. Two double-gated entrances lead to a gravel-centered area with a doggy drinking fountain, and a dedicated Small and Shy Dog Area was added in 2018. Maintained by Seattle Parks and Recreation, it's a secure, well-equipped off-leash destination in southeast Seattle.
